Banana Muffins Recipe

Here is the recipe for banana muffins - beginner version.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (maida)

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 3 large or 5 small bananas, mashed

  • ¾ cup white sugar

  • 1 egg

  • ⅓ cup butter, melted

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 175 °C. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.

  • Combine bananas, sugar, egg, and melted butter in a large bowl. Fold in flour mixture, and mix until smooth.

  • Coat muffin pan with butter. Scoop batter into muffin pan. Fill until the edge; the tops will rise above the pan. Sprinkle the tops lightly with cinnamon powder.

  • Bake in preheated oven. Bake muffins for 12 to 15 minutes.

  • Let cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Enjoy.

Serving: 7-8 muffins
